Good question, and I thought a long time about running for that very reason.

However, I think it would be hard to question my impartiality, and this can be referenced during both of our recent legal crises. In each case, I lobbied against my original "pre-crisis" vote in an effort to uphold our laws.

I will always make time to help the people of our nation navigate through legal crises such as these. And you can rest assured that I would leave my personal opinions out of any legal decision I make.
