Just read the thread on Iron Works and one reply mentioned that that city was able to produce 217 shields per turn.

Just wondering, can anyone top that? Also it would be interesting to find out the best ever food/commerce/culture etc for a particular city....:

Top culture for a city? Well, we know 20,000 has been done. There's not much point after that...

I've gotten a city with If I remember correctly 3183 commerce. Not anything else that is really worth saying though.

If i had the choice of having a city with 217 spt or two with ~100, i would prefer the two,
since most modern units are then finished in one turn. No need for one "super city",
when i can build 20 powerhouse cities
that build 100 units within 5 turns
