Okay, disreguard everything in that thread I made a while ago... I am building a computer, and the final price (with the warranties on the MoBo, CPU, and Vid Card, aswell as the S&H (UPS Ground)) is $1,476.80.
Here is a list of what I am getting: (txt file)
http://www.golemlabs.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=305987

(I don't know if that will work, if it doesn't then I'll just copy/paste it to this thread)

I need to know if all that stuff is compatable, any forseeable trouble putting it together or later on after I have set it up.
Also... Good computer, overall?

Don't pay extra for warranties. It fits together like LEGO! :)

Pay most attention to the case: Too many people go wrong by not inserting the insulating pins (supplied). These should line up only with the holes on the mobo. The case will have more holes than required. Getting this wrong can, potentially, short the mobo.

Later, take the time to setup your BIOS settings following the instructions in the mobo manual (supplied). This will be educational and improve performance.

WinXP setup does the rest.

Personally, I would prefer XP Professional but it probably won't make any difference. A SATA HDD would be faster but I suppose there is a budget limitation ;)

Well, you know, in the case of shorting out the mobo, the extra 25 dollars could really help out...;) So... You would say that everything there is completely compatable and I should have no trouble getting it to work, finally be able to play UT2004 w/o too much lag and finally kicks some noob ass??:P

It would definately play UT2004 with great speed (fps), but it won't affect your Internet performance (lag).

The odds of shorting your board when you follow proceedure are small, and tigerdirect surely protect you from faulty goods? ;)

I still would not pay for extra warranty. That's just me :)

I myself would go for a great case.. always have a great case and power supply. They are so easy to put together. if you can tie yer shoes u can put a PC togeher.
GET the SATA HDD its worth it. I bought a cheap case and well that was a bad thing. very bad thing. Tiger direct isnt bad but canadacomputers is better. Ive always found better prices and much more reliable hardware. Usually warranties are a waste of time. As Homer Simpson said " Extended warranty !! how can I go wrong!" but if u are new at it, go for it. If itmakes u sleep better at night knowing u have the extra warranty, its your money. But check out canadacomputers.com before u buy anything.
Just my 2 cents
