City Information
Located on the banks of the Great Eastern River north-east of the capital Fanatikku, Shorin-Ryu is one of the oldest cities of the great Japanatican empire. Although the city was only officially settled in the summer of 1150 B.C., the Japanatican presence was established long before that by the highly skilled wine merchants who set up the by now world famous Shorin-Ryu Winery. Apart from wine, the city has become an industrial and scientific powerhouse, greatly contributing to the prosperity of the nation. Located on the Zulu border, the city has seen a lot of diversity in culture, including several visits from Zulu and French leaders (claims that they only come for the wine are always denied).
Shorin-Ryu has always been a focal point in trade, the end product of which was the construction of the Great Wonder: Smith's Trading Company. By utilising vastly improved trade networks, the upkeep of all harbors, marketplaces and banks have been eliminated.
