The Cyrus Thread

As this is a newly acquired city in a newly acquired Province this thread will probably be going through some changes for awhile.

There are lots of Foreign troops moving through our area people. Although this portion of Kashmir could turn into a war zone soon, at this time there is plenty of opportunity to make the short term profit. Also, real estate prices are dropping. Something to keep in mind. I, myself have picked up a good chunk of that mountain SSE of town. I plan to start the Cyrus Diamond Mine Co. soon. I'd like to see the farmers head to the fields, as we will soon be getting new roads, railroad track, and I hear a new irrigating water source. Good luck and stay safe.

Here is a painting of our small but glorious city. Take a good long look at our new protective walls. These will keep you from harm's way should things turn for the worst. If you leave the city, please tell someone and take a map. Stay safe.

People of Cyrus. I'm here to announce the opening of our new university, University of Kashmir - Cyrus (UKC). The architecture of UKC is fashioned after Newton's Great University, with grand structures. The halls of learning are open, please come and join us in the Free Arts. We now have a highly recommended Language Ciriculum and I encourage all, young and old, to take a course, pick up a book, and learn a new language. The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

People of Cyrus, I am no longer your Governor, but will remain your mayor, while I attend my duties as Domestic Leader. Should you have any needs, please post them here and I will try to help the best I can. We are now a prosperous city, about to grow even larger. We are the Capital city of a thriving Province and we should remain so. Keep cool and stay safe.
