The dreaded "Failed to Allocate Video Memory" Error

Has there ever been a definitive fix for this? I never had the problem on Walords, but after purchasing BtS the other day and installing it, I am having the problem every minute or so on Warlords. Way too coincidental. I have yet to play BtS, so I do not know if the problem is present on BtS as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

IIRC, the best way to get rid of this error is to buy more RAM for your computer. I went from 1 GB to 2, and the error never showed up again.

Right, but the problem never appeared until I instaled BtS. And, like I said, I am not even playing BtS, I am playing Warlords and I am experiencing the problem in Warlords. Would installation of BtS impact game play of Warlords? How do I uninstall BtS?

If all else fails, you should be able to go to 'add/remove programs' in Control Panel and remove BtS from there (haven't tried it before, though). I'm pretty sure they added new 'features' to the graphics code, because I'm having serious performance issues with the game as well.
