The Forbidden Palace has worsened corruption

What? I'm playing as the Ottomans...

My empire is oddly shaped... thanks to Arabia declaring war. It's in the shape of a backwards C, where my capital is in the middle of the curve. Well, I put my forbidden palace in Persepolis, which is at the tip of the bottom part. In Mecca and Baghdad, which are in the upper branch, the production is down to one shield. Before the forbidden palace, it was at 5 shields for Baghdad and 2 for Mecca. What's going on?

We're probably gonna need more info than that. What version, PTW or C3C? What patch? How many cities do you have? Are you still at war? What size world?

If you're playing PTW, then the reason is that those two cities are farther from either capital than any others. (I believe the palace rank exploit still applies to PTW, right?) This puts them last on the distance corruption list, and depending on build date, probably pretty low on the rank corruption list.

The unpatched version of Conquests has a nasty bug of having your FP and SPHQ increase corruption.

Yeah, I'm playing unpatched C3C, so that must be the problem. Better patch it for my next game...

Funniest or most mind boggling. I can understand how something like the submarine bug gets missed, but how do they make last minute changes without testing something as vital as corruption due to the FP.

I just feel bad for all the people that play Conquests & don't know about/go to these forums.

what is that submarine bug i keep reading about anyway?

i dont have conquest yet,if patching it is anything like patching PTW(impossible!!) and really buggy unpatched maybe i should not buy it

That AI ships will accidently move into your sub's square. We get a pop up when we do it, they don't & war is automatically declared.

It's not that bad, I've stuck with 1.15 though until they make the patches compatable.

Ah that explains what's just happened to me. Was trailing an Iro fleet out of curiosity when they suddenly declared war and attacked (and sank) my nuke sub with a frigate!

I think that is the rebug. Its happend on CivIII 1.07f
