This kid of Magic is knows today as the Kabala and in the time of the Babylonians, the Jews were captured and sent back to Babylon were they stayed there for many years. While they were there they stayed to learn what was then a new form of Knowledge form the creator/Allah. Two angles came down at Babylon and taught man magic; before they did they said, "If you learn this new form of mystical knowledge it will lead you astray". So a lot of the Babylonians started to learn this form of magic, so did most of the jews there as well. It's very dangerous to learn this type of knowledge.

The Kabala gives you access to a world you cannot see and new dimension were you could deal with other beings know as Jins in Islam, or demons in English. The useful part of this "Magic" is that the Jins will assist you in practically anything you ask...so goes the saying!

Does anyone else know anything about the Jews in Babylon!

Very interesting..

Most forms of Kabbalah teach that every letter, word, number, and accent of scripture contains a hidden sense; and it teaches the methods of interpretation for ascertaining these occult meanings.

The first book on Kabbalah to be written, and still extant today, is the Sefer Yetzirah, Book of Creation. The first commentaries on this small book were written in the 10th century, and the text itself is quoted as early as the sixth century. Its historical origins are unclear. It exists today in a number of recensions, up to 2500 words long. Like many Jewish mystical texts, the Sefer Yetzirah was written in such a way as to be meaningless to those who read it without an extensive background in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and Midrash.

A recent modern revival has been initiated by the Kabbalah Center founded by Philip Berg in Los Angeles in 1984, and run by him and his sons Yehuda and Michael. With a number of branches worldwide, the group has attracted many non-Jews, including entertainment celebrities such as Demi Moore, Madonna, Mick Jagger and Britney Spears.

That's not really the case. Kabalah, generally speaking, is the philosophical side of the Jewish religion. There are some connections between the kabalah and Islam, as the book of Zohar (the most important book of the Kabalah) does refer to Islam. It also refers to Christianity and to various other mystical books written untill the 13th century. However, these are a relatively small part of the Kabalah, are are just refrences. Furthermore, it was almost certainly written is Spain.
Basically, the Kabalah isn't about magics at all, but about philosophy. It's a very deep book, and those who seriously study it, including the required knowledge and background, are said to be in risk of becoming mentally disabled.

As to Jews in Babylon, I know a lot about it. What do you want to know?

Mick's never been wrong about anything before!

Yeah, doing magic is quite dangerous if you do it in poker games about money, however everyone likes it when you do it at the local mall.

Now explain that to me!

do you want to make it one?

I just pointed out the MASSIVE influence of the highly superior Babylonian science (and theology relying on it) had on the goatherders they took as slaves!

Yes, and Allah was a Bedouin god, not a Babylonian god. The Kaballah takes much of its content from the earlier Sumerian mythos. Completely pagan (Sumerian Mythos, not Kaballah) and having nothing to do with Islam. Mohammed (blessed be his name) wasn't even a thought at the time nor do I think Allah was even the tribal diety that he came to be in the pre-Islamic phase of Arabia.

No but we can take it to the International creationism vs. evolution thread perfection has set up for us!!!!!!

Except that outfit! That.is.just.wrong. :p

But on another note, the "magic of Kabbala" explains why so many suckers have been fooled into thinking that Madonna's music is actually enjoyable to listen to!

As Benderino has pointed out i meant the Pharisee heresy. Do you know that these Pharisee are closely linked to the kabala and Babylonian magic!!!

Hay could this form of "Magic" the Kabala be linked to devil worship and Satanism!!!

I still don't understand the rest of your question.

Not really. The kabalah refered to other religions and beliefs, but it's still based on Judaism and as such it doesn't believe in the devil.
