The suebians mod is made for civilization brave new world, so if you don't have the expansion this may or may not work. The suebians are basically germans, they existed for quite a long period of time and I believe these are the german ancestors. Either way, I'm unsure on their history but they sure as heck make an awesome civilization mod, check it out!

The description of the civ 5 mod:
Internal Sackers
Melee units garrisoned on cities will generate 50% more unhappiness and +40% more gold. (This does also means that every time you train an unit, this will activate. Not intentional but I see no problem as it is.)
Raider
Receive 20% Combat Strenght Bonus if they starts the turn on pillaged improvement, and heals completely on pillaging. They replace the Spearman for the Suebi.
Migrant
Replaces the Settler. Has double move on forests and can enter rival territory without Open Borders. There was really no information (That I could find) about the suebi army or whatever, so this one is simply based on the barbarian migrations.
