SULOMON
Mod Civs Best Civs.
I've never seen or read Game of Thrones but there is a white walker mod and it looked cool so I decided to get it and make a story out of it.
I am using a lot of mods but the main ones are the Khanate of Sibir civilization mod, white walker mod (buffed, white/black color scheme barbarians), barbarians evolved mod (barbarians can take/create cities) and no unhappiness from amount of cities. I am using a pangaea, tilted axis map with eight civilizations and 24 city-states. I am also not starting the story from the beginning of the game.
For the purposes of this story white walkers are like artic zombies more or less.
Part 1. Beginning of the End.
A chilly air stood swept through the Sibir capital of Qashliq but not the normal chill from the tundra. Grave news and realization had reached the Khan’s court. The final unknown empire had fallen to the soulless beasts known as white walkers. Many travelers had spread word about long away empires losing their capitals and their empires, they had been regarded as weak, the strong would survive. But this last unknown empire fallen meant there were only three empires left; the Khanate themselves, the pathetic Ottomans and their fellow men in the IlKhanate. And this was in the tiny fraction of the world they had discovered. The thought that the rest of the undiscovered world only held ruins and white walkers kept many a man up at night. Furthermore the artic exploration yielded only hordes of the evil creatures.
Despite this, the Khan and the people resolved that they would cleanse this world with the IlKhanate. The white walkers may be numerous but they were weak and unorganized. The Khanate had the finest bows and archers with swordsmen who had done nothing but combat. Surely the hordes would not stand to such skill and equipment.
Then horrific news reached the capital, the IlKhanate were being overwhelmed and their capital had exhausted its defenses.
Some men tried to play off the news. It was dreadful the IlKhanate were falling but Sibir would persevere! Their flank would not be exposed either, for Sidney had stood against white walker invasion many times and it would continue to do so.
It was known that Maragha would fall but it was still a shock. People walked around somberly and emotionless and not even the most confident officials tried to say how they would come to retake the world. There still was still at least another IlKhanate city left but communication had been severed and they were as well as dead. As if the Khanate was next more whitewalkers forces appeared on the northern front. But this front was held by Elite Sibir Bows, second only to the Qashliq Veteran Bows. Otherwise the Elite Bows could shoot the farthest, twice as fast and make headshots on any opponent who could find cover. They could march for days while still repairing and rearming. But even some of the greatest aren’t invincible. Overconfidence led to the Elite Bows not retreating soon enough and they fell to cold swords in a valley north of the city.
But there was good news. The city of Tobolsk had been founded as a base for an exploration navy.
The Elite Sibir Swordsmen were weary after the Elite Bows had fallen and had started to return to Chimgi-Tura but not soon enough.
It looked a dreadful situation but the Elite Swordsmen were excelled at melee combat, they would slice up a dozen whitewalkers for every man they lost. The ensuring battle was a brutal affair but the Swordsmen held with hundreds of white walker bodies surrounding them. The defeated and unorganized white walkers dispersed back into the artic wasteland. This victory served as an excellent inspiration for the new poets starting to populate the land and the first dramas were being written with this battle in mind.
Part 2 should be up tomorrow!
