This is a wierd problem no one has mentioned

The problem I am having is that for whatever reason certain text shows up as a light bright blue blocks where the text should be. This occurs in a variety of places including: the credits (all blue blocks), the city name and what it is producing, the city size (this is actually a black rectangular block), as well as above the exit to main desktop, exit to main menu... etc.. screen... (one large bright blue block) Anyone have any clue on how to fix this problem?

My grapics card is a nvidia GeForce 2 mx/mx 400 64mb, my processor is a AMD 1.3 ghz and everything else works fine albeit a little slow

I have tried to update my drivers but the error i get after i'm done updating with the new drivers is the last part of the direct draw acceleration test which takes place in full screen mode. Computer just goes into a blue screen with a parity error something like that. When i use my old driver I do not get this problem however, so i am using the older drivers. Hope someone can help, looking forward to playing some good Civ 4
