The news channels are reporting that at least 10 people were arrested at New York area airports last night. The individuals were captured with the following items in their possesion:

Flight Manuals<br />Fake Passports<br />Knives and boxcutters

Two men were posing as pilots....several people were posing as airline crew members.

The 3 airports (JFK-LaGuardia-Newark) have been closed again.

Don't think for a moment that these fanatics are finished.

I think the US should conduct Israeli like security checks. In Israel, after the 60s and 70s when planes were hijacked by terrorists, we built the best anti-air-terrorists systems. Some of the things are machines, so you can't activate them for a long time. What you can do is to put an armed security guard in casual clothing on every plane. No terrorist will take over an El-Al aircraft without a gun and a few guys to back him up. No chance to do it using using knives.

this is a very good system, but... expensive?

But much expense is a human life worth? I really like the idea!

I guess this systems are expansive... but they're also extremly effective. That's why in the day of the attack only Israeli aircrafts were allowed to enter Israeli airspace. Nothing against other companies. It's just we're safer.

And now I finaly know the answer - We needed beer! ofcource!!! <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <br />And about things being produced in Belgium- I didn't know thats where they make them... But if the US will buy these things to all it's airports I guess they'll have to build new factories anyway, so maybe they'll build all the machines in the US.

Hey ,you must admit.look at all my fellow citizin.<br />50% have beer belly's.Now you can say that 50% are just all men.BUT not only men can have beer belly's.Especialy in our army.so go with these men to a war. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <br />Why do you think the Belgian part of the Nato mean jack ****?Why do we have so much transport plane's? They are the only one that could carry us.Why do you think we have the highest rate of "accidental" plane crashes? Or the most killing trafic in the world?

But atleast we laugh.And we are to genarely to laizy to fight.And that's kinda peacefuller.

But we have an important contribution that we make to Nato.We Supply beer.And so moral is good.<br />And the pink elephant is an extra allie.
