Wondering if anyone else has this problem -
After a crash to desktop playing a standard-sized map, Civ will now only create a duel-sized world, no matter which options I choose.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deleting cache but even after a (what I think is a clean) install I still get only duel-sized maps.
System was:
1.7Ghz AMD machine
768mg mem
GF440MX
updated drivers (tried 81.85 and 7x.xx versions without joy)
I have today updated my graphics card, thinking that this was probably the reason why I was having trouble - but despite having a system which more than meets the recommended requirements I am still getting this error.
Is there a file which I should be deleting after the uninstall (via control panel) which I've missed?
This is very very frustrating. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem with the Nvidia cards.
