Yes, of course! I'm regularly playing the COTMs and I love them. But...once a month is not enough, I want more!
I'm playing CIV from the very beginning and I found the Idea of monthly tournaments simply Brilliant. Expecially when the scenarios are well made that happens here more often than not. My compliments to the Genius who invented them.

GOTM is a great competition, but if you're looking for more, there is something else going on:

You have to generate your own maps, but if you don't like a particular map, it's perfectly legal to dump it and start a new map. No pressure of deadlines either.

You could consider getting in on the next SGOTM (succession game of the month) if you like. Sign-ups should be up in roughly a month (the name is a bit misleading in this case). It proceeds like a normal SG, but it's a competition. The forum is a subforum of the GOTM one.

Also, if you have C3C, you should also have the ability to play PTW or vanilla, right? In that case, you have a second competition available every month in the GOTM series itself.

Thanks Renata. I will take a look to the SG/SGOTM games. I'm so used to play "Conquests" that "Play the world" is not interesting anymore for me so the GOTM too.
