Well, I originally had the problem with the black terrain, but I managed to fix that with the patch and the newest ATI drivers.
However, now that it is fixed, the trees have gone wonky and they look basically like black holes. One of the problems that I'm having is I get a "Not enough video memory" type of error and the game crashes. This is likely because I have only a Radeon 7500 32 MB card (and the minimum is a 64 MB card). However, by reducing the graphics settings I have got the game to work, the only problem is that the trees look strange (as aforementioned). A few other things look a bit odd such as what looks like black stuff surrounding flood plains, but otherwise it looks alirght.
Does anyone have any suggestions to fix the trees? I realize I may be hosed with my inferior card, but does anyone have any tips that might make the game a bit more playable?
