Trying to mod in a Scenario asset (Nilometer) to the game. Help please?

Hi all, I'm trying to mod in the Nilometer from the Nubia scenario into the game.

I know how to add the database stuff for the building using SQL and the relevant tables...but how do I make the icons and art show up properly?

Is there a guide or can anyone tell me the files I need to add in addition to my database stuff? The Building Example mod is no help at all.

Completely lost...Can anyone help me figure this out?

Icons are working now but the Nilometer is not actually showing up when it's built.

Okay, so my mod has an ArtDefs folder with the proper artdef pulled from the scenario. I also have a Core folder which has the SQL and the Icons list. I also took the .DEP file from the scenario and switched my ModId in there.

Looking at other mods that add textures, they have two things I don't seem to have: Platforms --> BLPs, Textures, and XLPs. If I am just importing assets already in the DLC, which of these do I need?

Searching in the game's files, I cannot find any sort of .dds or .tex files. I did see a few TEXTURES for the Nilometer, and I also see the BLP for the scenario. Any guidance? No XLP either.
 
Okay, so I took the path of least resistance that Poukai did for the Gold mod: I literally just put in the XML used in the scenario in a mod (obviously removing the requirement for Nile terrain). It shows up fine and I can build it, and the graphic shows up! .... but the model appears right in the city center instead of on a river :( How can I make it appear in the same location as a water mill would?
