Persia offers peace but I assume this is the common mistake. Persian yokel has fortified on hill - maybe he just wants to look or maybe there's iron there...
My plans, please comment:
Two exploring warriors and curraghs continue north. Move our warrior west to pop hut and then north to sentry as indicated. Leave the other in case Persia goes for the worker. Warrior-settler pair goes to Cruller site. Spear stays in Springfield, Shelby warrior goes to Springfield. Springfield starts on settler at 10 spt, Shelby starts on warrior - this one should probably go north to sentry as well - and hires scientist. Then lux can go to 0% for a while, sci as well if we continue towards Republic.
We need to decide where the next settler will go. It seems we agree on the sites but not on the order. I don't know how to resolve this, I suppose it's the consul's job

What do we do about research? Unless someone gets on the ball and starts negotiating with MIA we need to start researching some military stuff. I have tried to help negotiations along for a while but I am not going to continue doing that - it's not a solo game after all.
So: who wants to be an active ambassador to MIA? If we don't get a good candidate before I play, I would like to switch research to Iron Working at max, it's the quickest way to (hopefully) get something useful - 6 turns right now. I am afraid we are running out of time: sooner or later Persia will train immortals, and spears/warriors are not very useful against those guys.
