2120BC, I'll play late tonight (GMT).

Persia offers peace but I assume this is the common mistake. Persian yokel has fortified on hill - maybe he just wants to look or maybe there's iron there...

My plans, please comment:
Two exploring warriors and curraghs continue north. Move our warrior west to pop hut and then north to sentry as indicated. Leave the other in case Persia goes for the worker. Warrior-settler pair goes to Cruller site. Spear stays in Springfield, Shelby warrior goes to Springfield. Springfield starts on settler at 10 spt, Shelby starts on warrior - this one should probably go north to sentry as well - and hires scientist. Then lux can go to 0% for a while, sci as well if we continue towards Republic.

We need to decide where the next settler will go. It seems we agree on the sites but not on the order. I don't know how to resolve this, I suppose it's the consul's job :p.

What do we do about research? Unless someone gets on the ball and starts negotiating with MIA we need to start researching some military stuff. I have tried to help negotiations along for a while but I am not going to continue doing that - it's not a solo game after all.
So: who wants to be an active ambassador to MIA? If we don't get a good candidate before I play, I would like to switch research to Iron Working at max, it's the quickest way to (hopefully) get something useful - 6 turns right now. I am afraid we are running out of time: sooner or later Persia will train immortals, and spears/warriors are not very useful against those guys.

Plan looks good to me, and i've got a letter ready for MIA (see mia thread).
 
i volunteered to be at the meeting with MIA. I should be free to do it, anywhere between 7-9 o'clock monday-thursday, Friday anytime from 3 o'clock on. the weekend, saturday anytime from 11 o'clock on and sunday 1 o'clock on.
 
Have played according to plan above. I've kept research at min on republic for now, as diplo is picking up. Hopefully we will get some military stuff quickly.

No sign of Celts yet. Next time we should play Carthage for faster ships :).

Persian military is now average to ours again. We are gaining 13 gpt, should go up when we refound Cruller as our unit support is very high now (5 gpt). Looks like Persian capital was relocated somewhere around 2350BC (from the culture graph).

This is why the game stopped, because their was accusation of attempted cheating (mainly by KISS), because they renamed the cities as well so the capital stayed the same. It also seem it was one of the reasons they went to war with us, even though we were the only team to stay netural so go figure!? The only reason i can see for them changing the cap. is because where they are planning to expand is all on one side of the capital, so they wanted a more central capital to reduce corruption.
