Not much happened this turn, but we have to take it one turn at a time. :)

First, our curraghs continue to explore. Here is picture to the north where we can see a regular Immortal wondering on the beach:

Zoi has built settler which is supposed to be idle for some time and is headed to Charnel. Charnel and Zoi were micromanaged as described previously.

IMO, the settle can build a town instead of just sitting there idle. If I may suggest a spot marked by black circle on the map. We can have another settler from Zoi in about 7 turns or may be even 6. The galley in Charnel (even if pop-rushed) would not be ready sooner than in 6 turns. JT from the capital will arrive to Charnel in about 4 turns. We can ship the JT to the iron island and explore a bit before coming there with the settler.

Also, Savnnah has produced a warrior and he is headed to Rytty for MP duty apparently required there in 2 turns. Savannah is set to make another warrior for the time being but the city is good producer and can build an improvement, may be barracks.

There are a few other places on the map suitable for the cities marked with red dot which can be built immediately and another sites marked with blue squares which may be considered as suitable locations. The reason why black dot is better to be considered atm is that building town at red dots would decrease a chance of barbarian appearance. The reason for postponing builds in the blue squares is that they would substantially increase corruption in Zoi and TF. Hence, black dot might be the best choice for the current settler. We should decided this issue before the next turn comes since the settler should be moved.

And finally, here is a map of the iron island beaches: There are a few possible city locations marked as well in order of priorities. We should apparently also discuss this but no need to rush, there is a plenty of time.

Excellent work Iago! Seems that our northern neighbors have larger lands than they let on.

Wouldn't it be better to have the black dot moved to the river? We are losing the free aqueduct here...

On other points, I agree with akots. :)

So there is a large quantity of land to C3B's north...

Call me paranoid but what are the chances of C3B attacking once we decide to revolt to Monarchy? If they "Timed" the attack to when we hit anarchy it could make it fairly difficult to beat back the attack....

Magnus: I don't think that will happen. We are 3rd or 4th, so our anarchy-time won't be that long. Furthermore; we get Monarchy immediately after C3B researched it and we can see whether they are in Anarchy or not. And anyway; our SoZ will continue to produce Ancient Cavs, even in anarchy.

And: they won't get units down so fast, we have sentrys running around...

I'm against the black dot at all, also the southern blue dot. The reds are perfect. The northern blue dot...well, sure, if we have a settler left...

About whether the settler should wait for the galley or not: tough call. I'll leave that up to you, akots. However, bare in mind that we want the harbour in the iron city done as soon as possible, and if we don't buy it (or only very late), it's going to take a long time to build it, which is a reason to build the city even faster. But that's an 'if'...

Hows about that: wait for next turn to come, then see whether F3 guy tells us something about new barbarians. If they do come near Cheetah-Place of TF, I would certainly send the settler (covered with JT) to red dot on a NE straight line from TF. If there are no barbarians, the settler will wait for 1 turn in TF and then the picture with build orders would be more clear and may be the settler can wait.

@Black dot: We are agricultural and have cheap aqueducts. Also, Cheetah-Housing would produce only workers and might be disbanded later in the game as it was decided previously thus getting rid of dense build in this area. Third, position of the city is strategic for naval control over the ships coming through to attack our mainland. It would be a great naval base with flood plains to use and on the hill for defensive bonus. After FP in TF is finished, it would be not so corrupt. Fourth, it is the only place from which we can ferry reinforcements for the iron island. AC from than city would take 1 turn to reach the Iron Mountain city (with roads and another port in place). Charnel though might be suitable to this purpose to a certain extent.

Excellent argument akots! I do, however, support the red dot by the 2 fish and wthe whales as the first spot to settle.

Yes, but we would better off sending the settler there with a galley. The question was what to do with him now. There is a new turn and I don't see strong prevalence of any opinion, so please discuss. This might wait but only 1 turn.

Oh right! But I meant that fish place before the black dot.
