Turn duration in Civ 1 ?

My apologizes about my bad english. I am from Costa Rica.

Ok, I have a doubt. How many time takes each turn in Civ 1 with Earth mode and 7 civilizations ?

It because my game takes 10 or 12 seconds Earth mode 7 civilizations changing the enemies moves !! I think it is too much !
Is it problem of my Pc ???

Does the entire game run excruciatingly slow? If so, it's because you're running the game natively. The workarounds are to run the game in DOSBox or select IBM sounds from the startup menu.

The option 'show enemy moves'; you can turn it off.
