Turning off DEP

I am trying to turn off DEP, but I can't click on the options




I just can't click on them, simple as that.

Anyone know what could cause this to be?

Another thing to check then: Is it enabled in the BIOS? You may be able to turn it off/on a that level.

Perhaps you should try to take ownership of the bcdedit.exe.

Well it's usually a command prompt but I found a registry fix which is easier to use

When you boot your computer, hit f1, del or whatever key it tells you to press to enter setup. Said setup is the BIOS, where you can change different settings. Somewhere in there, there should be a setting for DEP.

I know how to change things in the BIOS, it's the other quote I was refereeing too.
