Turning off recommendations

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the auto recommendation that comes up when you complete a unit/research/building? I still want the screen to come up, just not with the computer recommending what I should build next.

You can't, unless someone has modded it out which I don't think anyone has.

Firaxis didn't place an option in the game to turn it off, but I'm sure if you look for it, you will find a mod that turns it off. I just ignore them most of the time and after a while it all looks the same and you can't see the recommendations anymore. I prefer to go my own way, without annoying advisors getting in my way
