(Apart from the requirement to use Steam, that is!)
The first is that while the game is launching, the cursor is disabled. Why on earth would they do that?! It is incredibly arrogant to presume that we don't want to access any other app at the same time, especially as just launching the game can sometimes easily take a minute or more.
The second is that when restarting a multiplayer game, players will often be assigned to the wrong civ and/or have their level changed to Prince. It can take five or six (slow) restarts before everybody is finally in the right place.
Is there any way of getting around either of the above?
