Hello everyone Im new here. :)
I have downloaded a new civilisation mod from here and successfully installed it, but all cities and leaders appear to have "TXT_KEY_.." in front of them :( Is there a way fix this??

I am having the same problem with almost all of the modded Civs, which is a bummer, because obviously the modders put a lot of work into them but the naming bug makes them much less fun. You can't just rename the cities either, since the next one will simply repeat the first TXT_KEY_... entry.

If you go to the Creation & Customization forum: http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=393
click the Search this Forum pull-down menu (in the upper right of the screen but you have to scroll down a bit) and search on the string "txt_key" you'll see several threads making mention of the problem from the Modder point of view. Current consensus appears to be the bug won't be fixed without the next Firaxis patch.

Canada, Brazil, Byzantium and the Dutch work fine. I think all the rest are faulty.

:( hope they will fix this real soon. It's so annoying to see all my cities and units having the "Txt_key" on their names. Thought it was my computer's problem but turns out many civ5 players are having this problem as well. Hope Firaxis is working on a new patch to fix the bugs instead of just making new DLC

Oh, thought here was also the solution posted -> :
Cause of the problem is that somewhere are tags appearing twice.
Example was a Texas civ, which had TXT_KEY_CITY_DALLAS in it, which conflicted with the normal dallas key from the american civ. If civ sees something like this, it will just fail to load every text key.
So, just renaming the problematic key should solve the problem.
