ugh!! ptw singleplayer game crash

Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

I have PTW and I have the patch installed. I am in a singleplayer game and the following error popped up:

file not found:

art\units\knight\knight death.wav

the game will now exit.


UGH!! I was right in the middle of a good game. Does this happen often? Does anyone have any pointers?

So far, I am just not happy with PTW. The multiplayer is poor so far, and this is the second time I have had an error similar to this one.

Hey, does anyone know of a quick fix for this crash?

It really stinks to play for multipule hours in an internet game and have this error put a stop to everything.

Someone with authority should be responding to the crash prone minority.

Hi!


try to locate that file in your computer. if it aint there, it could have been somehow erased. if so, locate it in the instalation cdron and copy it over. its only a wav file. if you don find it, let me know and i send you the file over the internet.
