Hello, i have a 333 mgh cpu, and I was wondering if this game would be at all playable on it. Be the answer Yay, or Nay, are their any settings and such that I could change to increase performance?

Thanks in advance.:egypt:

Yes, playable enough.

Remember not to use Huge maps (and if you *do* then make sure you turn off the extra Civs)

Also turn off animations too - friendly and enemy.

I run it on a p166 with 256mb ram so that shows you what can be done :) (I'm very patient)

Regards
Delphy

WOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I honestly dont mind turning off the animations, I have been playing alpha Centauri for some time now...:D :D :D

The game is gonna be very slow on your PC. In Thanksgiving break, I tried to run Civ3 on my old 350 MHZ PC at home. It could run the game, but the speed was untolerable.

Hopefully the patch, whenever, or if, it comes, will make the enemy tribes stop "patrolling" the units. This not only is annoying to watch, it takes up time even when you can't see them. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
