Unable to start game

Upon attempting to start up civ 6 from steam, it crashes before it reaches any of the logos. This occurs with DX11 and DX12. This has occurred ever since the March 2018 update. I have already deleted the content of mods folder mods.sqrlte as well as unsubscribed from all mods on the workshop.

I have the exact same problem. Trying a complete reinstall of the game. Since the March 2018 update the game has failed to load. Came here to see if I’m the only one with issue.

I’ll report back if anything changes.

Yep that didn’t work either. Tried unsubscribing and deleting all mods and still no joy.

Sod it then.

Any fixes? Not being able to start the game really ruins it.

EDIT: It's been fixed. I'm not really sure what fixed it.
