Unciv?

Dear VP Forum,

This mod is one of my favorite games to play, but I no longer have a PC to do so. I was curious if there was any ongoing effort here to create a 'Vox Populi' mod for Unciv, which is a mobile port of CIV 5.

I'm not a dev myself, but I am fairly sure it won't be compatible, and that the amount of work required to make so is far beyond the scope of VP.
Might be wrong tho, so you should wait for a dev's reply

I think you'd be quicker saving for a new pc! Heck even my old 2016 laptop was able to handle vp on minimal settings with no eui so you wouldn't even need to break the bank

It's unclear to me what the legal status of Unciv is. Presumably "not".

In a world where it is kosher, the next question is if it is a complete rewrite of the base code (in which case the answer to OP's question is no, never) or it somehow runs the civ V base DLL and just changes the graphics. In which case then presumably they could port our stuff over quite easily. You'll have to ask them.
