Unit request: Steamship

I would really appreciate graphics for a Steamship unit to fill the gap between Galleons and Transports. Thank you in advance.

Sort of like the titanic? I don't think people can intorduce new models into the engine until the SDK is released though, so all that can be done graphic wise is skins.

Would be nice to have this, problem is in the industrial / modern era techs fly by so fast that you get maybe 20 - 30 turns with most units in the feild before they become obsolete.

We could give the Steamship some more time by delaying the Transport to Plastics. However, during the late 19th century there was a great problem that ships could be obsolete as soon as they were launched, due to rapid technical development.

Actually i too would like a few WW1/WW2 ships. I know we can't add new models yet but maybe untill then I could get someone to reskin the existing ones to look older? mainly as placeholders.

I actually plan to expand the tech tree to make room for them
