Unit resource

Hello Fanatics!, I've played Civ 1-5 and Rev am currently addicted to number 2, I am stuck playing it on my ps2 as I cant find the ToT . Anyways to my question I've been playing on the harder lvls as of late and I want to know how much food/shields units use per turn so I can better manage my armies against this crazy hard game.

Only settlers/engineers use food. Most units use 1 shield per turn depending on the type of the government. Look up the thread "Tips and tricks for new players". Also, consider joining the ongoing GOTM games.
