Unit stats!

I love stats, and I know the people here do too.

So I would like to see more stats!
Here are some ideas:

-I'm reminded of the unit 'kill counter' in StarCraft - if you clicked on a single unit, it'd tell you how many kills that unit had. Something like that would be cool, and would lend an extra dimension to those mod-makers out there. There's a lot you could do with this.

-The total created/lost/killed page I remeber so fondly from Civ 2. Remeber that? That was awesome...

I guess those are the two main things I have in mind, although there's almost no limit to the number of things you can track.

As a programmer, I can say it's easy, as simple as allocating 32 bytes and one postfix operator 'total_kills++'!

I don't want to hear people whine and moan about having the developers "spend more time on gameplay instead of fluff." It's the little additions that make this game so cool for me - I love being able to upgrade my palace, view my cities as they grow, etc.

How could that be good for mod-makers? I mean, yay that cavalry has 10 kills! Oh no! IT just got killed. Darn, was really attached to it too.

I second that. Would be great to see how many guys you lose in a suicidal rush ;)

You'd be able to make rpg-type scenarios with that... say you had a King unit, and your King unit had to get 10 kills then you'd win the game. You get the idea. Or you get 10 kills and your unit gets upgraded to a bigger and better one. Use your imagination, there's a LOT of potential with scripting.
