Unit upgrade problem

I am running civ4 - BTS - patch 3.19

I have been experiencing a problem using the ALT-upgrade button to upgrade my units, such as warriors to macemen. Even if I have more money than required and all my units are in my territory, the game will not upgrade all the units. I have to go find the missing ones and upgrade them individually.

Is there a solution for this? Or, is it just a bug from the latest patch?

I never had this problem before the patch was installed.

It's apparently a bug introduced in 3.19. Both the unofficial patch for 3.19 and BetterAI have a fix for it, as I understand it. (I never have enough money for a really big unit upgrade, so I haven't tried it yet. ) If you search for BetterAI, there is a link for both the UP and BetterAI d/l in the sub-forum, and in Jdog's sig.

Personally, I use BetterAI, and I won't go back.
