Okay, I have my hard drive partioned. Windows XP and all of my hardware drivers are on the partioned section that I'm having trouble with. Basicly, it's ran out of disk space (356 MB remaining).

Is there anyway to unpartion the hard drive, or to change it to give the partion more space? I really don't want to re-format, or lose any of my data either.

I dont think you can Unpation a hard drive, but you can shrink one, and repartion one.

Okay, then how do you do that?

A few Linux distros can so that kind of stuff. I'm pretty sure the Live CD Knoppix can do it, but you'll have to wait for Padma to see this thread and reply to get any details.

I think PartitionMagic should do the trick if you are willing to pay for it.

Well, I don't want to pay for something unless I 100% have to. What I really want to do is just enlarge the partition by about 5 gigs.

Partition magic costs about £35 here, which is the price of an 80Gb hard drive.

(What you could do is buy a new hard drive and copy the files over directly from the old (full) partition, changing the new hard drive's drive letter to that of the old (full) partition.)
