unzipping an RAR file

Hi,

I have Beyond the Sword (IV) on the latest build my PC with Windows XP.

when I download MOD from this web site, it downloads an RAR file. Sorry for my ignorance but I have never seen an RAR file. I was expecting a zip file. The directions say to unzip the file after it is downloaded. How do you unzip an RAR file?

use any modern zip program, e.g. the free http://www.7-zip.org/

I've been using WinZip. Is that not modern? It doesn't seem to recognize RAR files. I guess I will try yours.

winzip should be able to do it as well - but 7-zip definitely does...
