US debt clock in intro video

Was that board with something like "43224509246.03" on it the US debt clock? It was on the part of video where general mayhem on earth occured.

I assumed that it was supposed to be the world population. However, looking hard at the number, 43 billion is an unreasonable estimate for the world population in 2060 - 10 billion is far more likely. It's also too small for the national debt.
