HEY, PEOPLE. AMERICANS. Its just a MEDIVIAL UNITS. AND - you say that USA flag on the shield is a bad idea (I dont know why) but its alright if the pants are made of it.

but it goes farther then that- Its not totally unusual to depict some of our own historical characters in the classical style. Everyone knows of Washington portrayed as Zeus but other depictions exist as well, on a little search for the above site (I'd forgotten to boom mark it ages ago when i first stumbled upon it) I found this character: http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_your_park/monuments/monument_info.php?monId=78

and then from the origional link, the collective allagory for all American troops isnt all that different (hes standing with victory and peace)

and god knows how may other such things exist.

Off Topic: Now seeing the USA coat of arms, I can see that they are the modern Roman Empire that divides and conquer.

And why is there a David's Star made of stars in top of the eagle? (I'm not bothered just curious) is USA a Jewish country?

No, its probably there to help symbolize justice or order- but alot of Islamic art features stars of David as well, so it hasnt always been only a Jewish symbol, only in moder times, really.
