Use subs w/ nukes or ICBMs more?

Do you use Nuclear Subs with tactical nukes or ICBMs more?

The stealthy subs or the suprising Intercontinental Ballistic Missile?

I don't use nukes because at that time in the game I am about to win by spaceship. I have no need for nukes.

I use nuclear subs only to ship tactical nukes to other continents; great to kill SoDs!

I am more/less asking what delivery system do you prefer. Do you have subs off the coasts of other countries waiting to launch or have your cities filled with ICBMs?

I don't use nukes in general, but I always build a few. Usually 2-3 ICBMs, and 3-4 tac nukes on nuc subs, parked off the coast of capitals (even allies).
Main reason - if my cities with ICBMs get nuked, they only have a 50% chance of surviving. On the other hand, AI almost never builds subs, so my tac nuc subs are safe (relatively).

i heard that nukes/icbms in cities always servive for it to be fare. anyway on the points i use all 3 methods i often use my railroads to send tactical nukes to the front and bomb the cities near there with them its alot easier then loading then onto a sub and on pangea you can reach alot of cities that way i also sue subs for long range untill i get icbm's

I have never used nukes against the AIs or anyone else. However, I have used nukes on myself (out of boredom, I guess). Seriously, I sometimes use nukes to teraform the land but never use them in time of war.

I like to use tactical nukes just to eliminate stacks of doom and neerby cities, ICBM's are used to take out capitals and far flung places

If the game gets that far i would use a combination of the two, namely build some 3-4 tacs and then add some 3-4 ICBMs. I use the nukes as the first strike weapon which will hit the enemy hard enough that he will never recover. I discovered the most useful use of the nuke while being bombed by the AI: bombing the capital brokes every lux/resource deal you had with anyone. And it's your fault. Consequently, bombing AI's capital brokes all his trades for luxuries and stuff.

Allways have a combination of the two, mostly tac's thoug. ICBM:s are vulnerable to first strike, and are more expensive too. I'don't often build nuclear subs.
