I was having trouble getting my head wrapped around the idea of using a modifier of modifier, and thus creating a modifier chain.
So I found an example from the game and documented its use in an excel file, which I have attached. It's in an excel file because I found it useful to be able to look at it on a very wide screen and color code the matching parts; otherwise the formatting on a narrow screen makes it difficult to see what is going on.
If someone else is puzzling over this, hopefully this will help.
