I am using Windows 98SE and I have found that I cannot get mouse support for Civ. I in DOS Mode. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

If you can't solve your problem you might want to consider switching to Civ1 for Windows. I have been playing it for a few months now on Win98SE and it crashed only once so its pretty stable. The graphics are comparable to the DOS version but I must say that the ones in the Win version look better to me(judged from the screenshots I have seen on this site)

I've never played Civ1 for DOS. I have Civ1 for windows. And I love it.
The mouse is so easy to use in directing the units.
(Especially if you are using it on a laptop where the numpad is a bit different to negotiate.)
