Am I nuts? sure I nitpick Civ III to bits sometimes, but I seriously believe, that for such a serious upgrade to the Civ incarnations that this *has* to stop. There was another post I was annoyed about this, but now it has got fully out of hand. And I am starting to suspect the latest Patch is to blame.

This is totally reminiscent of Civ II here... now for *58* recorded turn the Babylonians have moved 8 swordsmen next to a city with 128 cannons and 58 cavalry, with 177 musketmen. Their entire military consists of 8 swordsmen, and 15 pikemen, from the intelligence I can gather. I ask them *every* turn to move, it just happens again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again.... I'm pretty sure this must be a bug!! has anyone else experienced this?

This is on version 1.29f. I have documented proof of asking them 58 times in a row to move or declare war.. however the move each time then just come back. They have invaded my land 58 of the 59 turns I asked them to leave.

ok this has to be a bug... still playing my game, babylon is not in my interests to take over right now as I have more pressuring wars to deal with.. this has hit 99 turns so I presume this is a bug.

My guess is that they are at war with another party or are wanting to get in postion to declare war and just want to move through your territory. If you dont want to fight them just sign a ROP and let em go. If you dont want a ROP just take a few of those units and make a line along your border, that will keep them out.

hrmm yeah.. I was really annoyed when I wrote that.. :) but seriously it was completely spoiling an otherwide enthralling game. I reloaded that game and asked for an RoP, which they willingly accepted at 11 gpt... so you were spot on, that was the problem.
