v1.52 XML error on loadup

I get the following error every time I load the game up with 1.52 loaded.

There are more siblings than memory allocated for them in CvXMLLoadutility:: Set Variable List Tag Pair Current XML file is Gameinfo/Civ4culturelevelinfo.xml

after this error pops up a dozen times the game starts and the new marathon level is not available. The game also freezes at the first screen sometimes.

I uninstalled the game, and deleted the firaxis file completely. I reinstalled and have the same problem. I was having fun with my own mod until all of this happened. I had altered the above named file in my mod but I can't imagine that causing a problem because I deleted or moved my mod out of the firaxis file altogether... Please help

moderator please close this thread. I found the problem my custom assets folders were still in the game files even though i had deleted them earlier. How this is possible I do not know... but there it is...
