so i just tried a (multi player)game as manfred von carstein of sylvania and found that i had big problems.

mannfred is agnostic, and the problem is that you need "eternal life" as your state religion to research necromancy, which enables your UU's. but as an agnostic you can't adopt a state religion:crazyeye:

yeah, but why remove the option to play as certain civs? thast just gonna limit our target audiance. If you want why not just list the "more complete" civs in the download thread?

My guess is cuz those civs are fully prepared to be played yet. Certain things need to be squared away first. Like the whole necromancy thing with Vampires, for example.

@Pleop
I'd recommend you make it so people can play any civ in a custom game, but not on the normal WH map. That way, they can still play a 'disabled' civ if they really want to. But also, those civs can be disabled for players in the WH map til they are fully workin. I'd only choose the civs that you absolutely feel should be disabled. I feel only the Vampire Counts need to be personally.

Did it the other way round. some less fleshed out civs are disabled in randomgames but still playable in the worldmap scenario for mapbalancing purposes

Ok. So, I assume that's on a new patch then?
