Some great improvements with CS interface.
Played Emperor Panagea standard with 10 civs.
The big difference I noticed from 143 is that the AI civs were near bankrupt most of the game. Until currency, I was having a hard time staying above negative. I could rarely find a 200 or even 150 g trade for resources. The friendly AI was willing, but they didn't have the gold.
Note that I didn't play with Arabia and everyone was at war with someone else. Darius, the wonder builder with all the gold could barely put up 20 gold.
I ended the game at turn 105 when the speed slowed down.

Overall, establishing a lead was not hard. There was a lack of competition for city-states and wonders, probably because the wonder builders were under attack.
