"Version does not match host"

While playing mp and joining a game, my civ IV gave me this message.
A player told me to switch my hard disk to nfts, which I did. Then to regedit. How do I regedit?
I have no clue what that means anyway.

These patch are worthless, my game was working fine before these patch came along

My friend converted hes CIV4 partition from FAT32 --> NTFS and this error message was gone.

To convers partition go to command prompt and write convert /? , that should get you started. You can regedit by running regedit on start --> run --> regedit.

I dont know what you should regedit exactly, with my friends situation the convertion from FAT32 -> NTFS did the trick alone.

If you can wait until the next patch, no conversion to NTFS will be necessary.
