Pop-up that lists units and buildings with AI's recommendations is very annoying. With the pop-up on, I can't even move the map or anything until I select something on the list.

This isn't a bug but I just wish the next patch gives an option to turn it off.

The pop ups you talk about always have the choice to turn em off, just go to the options windows and do so. Easy as that. I turned them off as soon i installed the game.

ummm...I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing here. I turned off "Advisor pop-ups" "Sid's tips" and "Minimize pop-ups" but it still pops up. City needs to be focused when it's its turn but we shouldn't be locked and stuck at that pop-up until we make a choice. It would be nice if we can view advisor's windows (F1-F something) and move around the map with the pop up still on.

The only pop up i ever get is the one when the city finishes a bulding or unit, asking you what to build next. If that the one you mean, i dont see the problem, always been like that even on past civ games and aint no bug.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I already mentioned it wasn't a bug. Probably my personal preferance but I sometimes need to see where the city is located at before deciding what to build next since I can't remember all the cities when the land gets huge. It's also needed during war time to check what type of enemy units are approaching so that I make appropriate units to encounter them.
