Help please. I have been reading a lot of the posts in this forum to try to fix my game. At first I had the black screen problem similar to what others described. Then I downloaded the patch 1.52 and the game wouldn't run at all saying that my system was out of video memory. None of the suggestions on here have worked for me.
I finally got a hold of someone at the customer service line, and after running the dxdiag on my pc, he says the only way I will ever be able to play is to buy a new video card.(I thought mine was 64mb but it is 32)
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to which one I should buy. I have been researching and they run anywhere from 20-500 bucks and there are like a million brands. I don't want to spend over 50 bucks, but I would like a good one. I also like to play the Sims 2. This game works on my computer, but runs very slow. I am hoping that a new video card will help with this game also.
