Video imperfection

Hi people,
i'm having some problems with my Civ4... graphic problems...
i've all the requisite to play the game, but it seems to be useless.
The version of the game is the 1.61 (the last)
I've a radeon9800se
Now I will post an image in which you can see what i'm talking about

Hey God - I had this problem too. And it only appeared after I installed the 1.61 patch.

The solution, for me, was to contact my PC manufacturer, and get them to send me a VGA Bios update. They were really great, giving me step-by-step instructions how.

Now that may not be the solution for you - updating your operating system, directX, and video drivers are all worth checking as well.

i was having this problem also before! before installing any patch! almost everything is up to date! i noticed that i can resolve in part checking off unit's animation...
and in particular it's the warrior and other units that give me these problems (not all)...
