video on demand (for school project)

I need to do a project for my E-Commerce Management module on Video on Demand and I am really having trouble looking for relevant information. Can anyone help me on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What sort of info do you need? What hardware is needed? How to deliver such services over IP?

You see, the problem really is that I don't know what is needed . I need to write a report on e-commerce developments in video on demand. So I suppose anything related to e-commerce and video on demand would be good.

EDIT: Now that I think about it... if "anything related to e-commerce and video on demand" includes a lot of things then just the basics would do.

I'm currently working in a company doing security - DRM, PKI, etc.

A recent project is to port a cryto library from *nix to a special STB, where all programs are stord in Flash memory, and a realtime OS called VxWorks (customized on a really big scale) is used.

I can tell you that it involves a lot of things... and I'm just working on the client side only, with just a tiny bit of involvement on the server side.

What is expected to be in the report?

-Advantages/disadvantages of e-commerce in the industry (of VoD)
-trends
-conclusions

@kcwong- I have no idea what your post was about (yes, I am that clueless). But as you can see from the above what is expected in the report is mostly business-related.
