Video Problems

Whenever I run Civ 4, my graphics become very distorted to the point where I cant read anything and the graphics stretch across my screen. The game, however, is not frozen because I can still move around the map. I am running it no a geforce 6600 gt. Please help me.

Have you got the latest video drivers for your video card? have you got the latest patch (v1.52)

Yeah, even tried the omega drivers.

There is a new beta driver on the nvidia website, try running with that. Don't get the WQHL one has it has some issues with Civ4 (causes black screens). If you're still having problems, post again.

Its only happening on this game though and I play WoW on this machine and no problems at all. Just tried reinstalling as well.

See how the Earth is very "pixelated" (i guess). Thats what I am trying to fix, and it only gets worse in the game.

I have exactly the same problem since tonight only
I don't understand : two days ago, every thing was ok, as usual, and now I have this problem... but I didn't change anything on my PC !

(I have a GeForce Ti4200 graphic board)

I had the same problem on recent games, when the graphics are heavy.
And finally I found the problem : warming of the graphic processor, in my case due to a ventirad problem.
