Has anyone noticed that when one nation declares War on you, other nations seem more likely to do so, even if they are not in direct alliances. After Russia declared war on me, China followed suit within 2 turns, and Egypt followed suit 4 turns after that, previously, Egypt had never taken any aggresive action against me period.

Anyone else notice something like this? Did the other nations bribe her, or did she realize that not fighting would lead to her evetual demise, and cast in her lot with the others? With the 3 of them together, they actually stand a decent chance at stopping me, although they haven't made any forward progress, their combinded efforts have stopped me from advancing.

I noticed this from the opposite angle. I was going for a diplomatic victory. I wanted to get the other AI's to go to war with my rival (Victoria) but they wouldn't do it. Then the next turn Isabel asked me to go to war with Victoria. Well as soon as I accepted that I signed in all the other AI's as well, for like 1 tech each. When before I had declared they wouldn't do it even for 3-4 techs. It also seemed cheaper to sign an AI in after each one I signed in.
