[Warlords] Upgrade Units Bug

When I grab one of my garrison units (say, for example, a longbow), for which there are several dozen others garrison'd in other cities, then I hold down the ALT-key and click the icon in the bottom window for upgrade (say, to Rifelmen), I find that the next turn I am prompted to re-fortify all (or nearly all) longbowmen-turned-riflemen units.

I'm 99% certain this was not necessary in Vanilla C-iv; alt-icon upgrading only required re-fortifying the unit selected, not all units upgraded.

it's this way since 1.61

I think it has something to do with "fairness", because it resets the fortify bonus to zero after upgrading, which makes sense (Upgrading=new equipment and weapons, so you defortify to train and get used to it.).

I'm not sure though if that's the reason why they implented the change.

I see. FWIW, I didn't install the patch until Warlords.

Then perhaps I can turn this into a request to have it reset the fortify to 0% and not require me to hit "F" 87 times when I do a mass upgrade?
